Contract & interim leadership

A gap in a critical function — maternity, a sudden exit, a transformation, a post-acquisition stabilisation. Cover in days, not months.

The situations that produce this call

A finance director resigns two weeks before year-end. An acquisition closes and the incumbent leaves at completion. A transformation needs someone who has done it three times before and will leave when it is finished. A maternity cover has to hold a function together rather than keep the lights on.

In each case the permanent search still needs to happen properly. The interim buys you the time to run it properly instead of hiring under pressure.

How fast, honestly

Five to ten working days from brief to a signed interim in most disciplines. Faster is possible when the brief is narrow and the market is deep. Slower when the role needs a regulated-industry track record or a specific language.

We do not send a list of available people on day one. Availability is not the qualification. The interim who fits your situation is often two weeks from finishing something else, and that is usually the better hire.

Rates and structure

Quoted as a daily rate with our margin stated separately. You see what the interim receives and what we charge. This is unusual in the interim market and it is deliberate.

Stabilise a function in days, not months.

Interim to permanent

If the interim turns out to be the right permanent answer, there is a defined conversion fee agreed at the start rather than negotiated after you are attached to the person. Nobody should be arguing about that in month four.
