The brief
A pan-European payments provider under PSD2 and DORA scrutiny needs its first true CISO. Security currently sits under IT; the dream job opportunity is to lift it out, staff it, and make it credible to regulators and enterprise clients.
What you will own
- Establish security as an independent function reporting to the CTO
- Deliver DORA readiness ahead of the next supervisory review
- Build a 12-person team from a current base of four
- Own the enterprise client security-review pipeline — currently a sales blocker
What we are screening for
- CISO or deputy in a regulated financial services environment
- DORA, PSD2, ISO 27001 and PCI-DSS working knowledge
- Built a security function rather than inherited a mature one
- CISSP/CISM welcome; evidence matters more than certificates
